16TH ANNUAL BUSHWICK FILM FESTIVAL NOW ACCEPTING FILM SUBMISSIONS

Brooklyn, NY - The Bushwick Film Festival (BFF) is proud to announce its call for film submissions for its 16th annual festival, to be held from October 24 - 29. The festival is seeking submissions of independent feature-length films, short films, series, screenplays, and NFT Videos, in all genres, from around the world. Filmmakers can submit their films at www.bushwickfilmfestival.com/submit. The next submission deadline is June 1, 2023.
BFF has become one of Brooklyn's strongest cinematic events, has showcased the work of nearly 1000 filmmakers from over 50 countries, and programs approximately 100 official selections each year. This year, the festival is looking for films that offer fresh perspectives and tell compelling stories.
In addition to film screenings, the festival will also feature special events including a red carpet opening, panel discussions, networking events for filmmakers, screenplay readings, and an awards ceremony. The festival aims to create a vibrant and inclusive community of filmmakers and film lovers, bringing people together through the power of film.
“We are excited to discover new voices and talent from around the world and showcase their stories in front of Bushwick audiences,” said Festival Director Kweighbaye Kotee. “The festival is committed to fostering the growth of independent filmmaking and offering a platform for emerging filmmakers.”
