Interview With Academy Award Nominee and Emmy Winner Sam Pollard

Yesterday at BRIC TV, we sat down with Academy Award Nominee and Emmy Winner Sam Pollard to discuss Black Lives Matter, Jesse Williams, Spike Lee, police violence and his upcoming screening of Style Wars on July 14th at the 12th AnnualBrooklyn Hip-Hop Festival.  Sam Pollard’s body of work spans over thirty years. He gained notoriety for his work on Spike Lee Joints such as Jungle Fever, Clockers, 25th Hour and Mo’ Better Blues.

Given our current state of affairs, our conversation with Mr. Pollard truly inspired us to look at who we are and question whether we are doing enough to stop the senseless violence that continues to occur against African-Americans in America.
