We are excited to invite you to nominate experienced professionals to join our esteemed jury for the 17th Annual Bushwick Film Festival!
As jurors, they will have the unique opportunity to evaluate and celebrate the best in independent cinema.
Commitment:
Availability to watch approximately 10 hours of films by Ocotober 15, participate in jury deliberations (inclding thank you dinner!), and attend festival events.
Requirements:
Experience in the Film Industry: Significant background in filmmaking, film criticism, directing, producing, acting, screenwriting, or other relevant areas.
Professional Recognition: Respected professional with awards, nominations, or other recognition for their work in the film industry.
Impartiality: Ability to evaluate films objectively and fairly, without personal biases or conflicts of interest.
Communication Skills: Ability to articulate opinions and participate in discussions about the films being judged.
Diversity: Bringing different perspectives and insights to the evaluation process.
Recommendations/Invitations: Invitation or recommendation by a reputable organization or individual in the film industry is a plus.
