SYNOPSIS:

After stumbling upon the aftermath of a grisly scene, twins Stephen and Clyde take a step away from the innocence of childhood and a leap toward choices that lead to self-betterment.

ABOUT THE DIRECTORS:

Adam R. Brown & Kyle I. Kelley are Brooklyn-based filmmakers that make up two-thirds of BullMoose Pictures. They shoot and edit to fill their bellies and make short films to feed their egos. Their work has screened at several film festivals across the world including; Maryland, Cucalorus, Fantasia, Athens, & the Nitehawk Shorts Film Festival.

SYNOPSIS:

A sweet old lady prepares a salty revenge.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:

Michael Jackson made his first film in college, a 50-minute documentary about the homeless that premiered at the Santa Barbara Film Festival. His subsequent films have screened at Cinequest, Sarasota, and Sonoma where he recently won the Best Drama Short Film Award. In 2016, Michael was selected as one of thirteen Directors to participate in the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema at Steiner Studios, Brooklyn, where he currently resides.

SYNOPSIS:

In the final act of a slasher film, Bruce attempts to reclaim his manliness and impress the final girl by finishing off the killer.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:

Nicholas Payne Santos is a twenty-nine-year-old filmmaker based out of Brooklyn, NY. He is a writer, director and producer at BullMoose Pictures and is a proud member of the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective. Santos was born and raised on Cape Cod, Massachusetts and is of Cape Verdean descent. Nicholas is currently pursuing his Film MFA in Creative Producing at Columbia University School of the Arts. He attended Ithaca College, where he graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Cinema & Photography.

SYNOPSIS:

Do you ever wonder “did I leave the coffee on?” or “am I pregnant with a devil-baby?” This animated short explores anxiety, obsession, and one woman’s slippery hold on reality.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:

Eileen O’Meara is an American artist known for her hand-drawn films “Agnes Escapes from the Nursing Home” and “That Strange Person.” O’Meara produced and directed commercial animation for clients including HBO, UNICEF, Warner Home Video and Motown. She received the National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship from the California Arts Council, Women in Film Foundation Hollywood Film & Video Grant, and Creative Cafe Post Production Grant. O’Meara’s work is featured in “Get Animated!” by Tim Maloney, “Making it Big in Shorts” by Kim Adelman, and “Dancing with the Sun – Selected Shorts from Sundance Film Festival.”

SYNOPSIS:

Ever had an itch you just couldn’t scratch? After a weekend camping trip with her new girlfriend Jo, Sam begins to feel a horrific itch in her hair that she just can’t relieve and realizes that some anxieties go deeper than her dark and twisted roots.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:

Raquel Cedar is a Brooklyn based screenwriter and independent filmmaker. Cedar studied directing and writing at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She was a Quarter-Finalist for the 2015-16 Sloan Foundation Feature Film Award and has had her films screened at such notable venues as the Artists Forum Festival of the Moving Image, Art of Brooklyn Film Festival, GenreBlast Film Festival, Cinema at The Edge Film Festival, The Brainwash Film Festival, Imperial Beach, Newport Beach International, and The Other Venice Beach Film Festivals.

SYNOPSIS:

In the – near future- decadent metropolis of Athens suicide is illegal, while citizens have no other desire but to die.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:

Syni Pappa was born in Cologne, Germany. She graduated in Film (Raindance Filmschool, London) and in Social Anthropology (Panteion University, Athens). Her screenplay collaborations for the feature films “Feline” and “Haunted By City Lights” (Sources2, Babylon, Serajevo Talents) are in development as European Coproductions. In 2015 she completed her short “Whack”; winner screenplay of SEE Cinema Network (2013) Funding Award, presented at Euroconnection, Co-Production Forum (2014), realized in Coproduction with the Greek Film Center, Croatian company Kinematograf and EMMY nominated VFX studio Yafka. Whack has been screened in festivals as Clermont Ferrand, Filmfest Dresden, Brest and won the Cinematic Achievement Award at Thess International Short Film Festival 2015. Her upcoming short “The National Garden” was granted a funding award by Athens Film Lab, AIFF”s screenplay competition and development program. She lives in Berlin, writing her debut feature film “Wrong Island”.
